Friendship is hard when nobody says what they’re really feeling.
One trampoline. Two best friends. And one very BIG misunderstanding.
When Milo gives Mini a trampoline for her birthday, things do not go to plan. Mini is upset, but Milo has no idea what’s wrong – how could he? As hurt feelings quickly take over, Mini learns that talking about problems is much easier than running away from them.
My granddaughter was thrilled to receive this for Christmas. One of her favorite reads. Bought one for her birthday too.
If only this book existed when I was a kid! The Teeny-Tiny Voice is a treasure that I believe must be on every child’s bookshelf. Mini and Milo’s heartwarming journey is captivating, and introduces kids to the nuances of emotional intelligence in such a delightful way. As a mother, I love stories that entertain while teaching valuable life lessons. We can’t wait to read more tales from this beautiful series!
I think this is why this series is good for readers of all ages, to help us understand how we feel, how others feel, and how everyone navigates the world differently and understands the world differently. I hope that this series explores many ways of feeling to help everyone.
I especially liked the way Mini’s voice was shown as a smaller, kind of invisible version of Mini herself, just a line drawing, while the real Mini and Milo and other elements of the story were in full colour. I loved The Teeny-Tiny Voice, and look forward to reading more of Mini and Milo.
The Teeny Tiny Voice is a sweet, relatable and helpful exploration of the subconscious mind.
Will ensure children love spending time with this pair and learn plenty of things along the way. Problem solving, working together and how to be a supportive friend are at the heart of Mini and Milo’s story.
