Mini loves winning. A lot.
One cooking competition. One last plum. And one friendship about to be tested.
Mini is determined to win the annual cooking competition – but she’s one plum short. When Milo refuses to give up his very last plum, Mini’s competitive streak quickly takes over. But will winning still feel worth it if it hurts her friendship along the way?
I think this is why this series is good for readers of all ages, to help us understand how we feel, how others feel, and how everyone navigates the world differently and understands the world differently. I hope that this series explores many ways of feeling to help everyone.
Will ensure children love spending time with this pair and learn plenty of things along the way. Problem solving, working together and how to be a supportive friend are at the heart of Mini and Milo’s story.
The Teeny Tiny Voice is a sweet, relatable and helpful exploration of the subconscious mind.
The text is succinct and delightful; the illustrations are absolutely charming. I loved every word, every illustration, and every page of Mini & Milo: The Big Flappy Ears. It is a treat for all ages to be enjoyed for its message and its endearingly sweet humour.
I especially liked the way Mini’s voice was shown as a smaller, kind of invisible version of Mini herself, just a line drawing, while the real Mini and Milo and other elements of the story were in full colour. I loved The Teeny-Tiny Voice, and look forward to reading more of Mini and Milo.
If only this book existed when I was a kid! The Teeny-Tiny Voice is a treasure that I believe must be on every child’s bookshelf. Mini and Milo’s heartwarming journey is captivating, and introduces kids to the nuances of emotional intelligence in such a delightful way. As a mother, I love stories that entertain while teaching valuable life lessons. We can’t wait to read more tales from this beautiful series!
